At the end of the event you get the photos via inventory. The experience of the photography influences how good of pictures and poses you could ask sims to do. Sims could hire a photographer ( or your sim could be hired ) to take photos at weddings and other sim events such as City Living festivals and more( birthday parties etc ).

I really liked the photography thing in ts4, wish they'd expand on it. Besides doing group activities and using the camera to catch them at the right moment.
